Don't have the ones you inquired about, but I am very, very pleased with a pair of Cabela's IM6 6 footers I picked to avoid a 'new puppy in the boat and custom 642 Loomis's' accident. Man am I pleased with these! Use them all the time and all over. Even take them on fly-ins over the Loomis'; I mean why risk breaking a Loomis where you don't really need one?
Maybe start with a lower end model to see if you like the quality, feel etc...before the big plunge. Everyone is different. Bring out the best in you.

Those PWT Pro Spinning Rod (Pinnacle) IM6 rods from Cabela's are great. I bought 2 each for my boys and I was very pleased with them as are the boys. Just a quick note. Cabela's is closing those out and is selling them on their WEB Bargin Basement for $9.99 each. Short supply so move quick.

I must second the IM6 AND IM7 rods from Cabela's in the 6' 6" to 7' 6" version. These are my "choosen" rods, the one's I use most of the time for Walleye fishing. I love them and, personally, I can bearly tell the difference in feel between these and Loomis rods. I may have dead hands, I don't know. The difference between $60 and $260 to $300 I CAN FEEL, and do know!

I think the best rod made is G-Loomis rods. I thought they were too high, after I bought around 35 rods over the years, they would have been just right. Find a tackle shop that will let you fish with a demonstrater until you find the right one for you.I use the SJR-721 IMX and just got a SR-781 in 6'6"IMX .
