I have two X-85's on my boat with temp/speed sensor for the counsel. Speed works but temp doesn't even when I switch units. I thought that the cable must be damaged but they won't work on my buddies boat either. Any thoughts?

Have you configured your units to disply temp?

I agree with Shep, sometimes fiddling around with your unit you can screw up the settings. Press the menu key, then up or down arrow to the chart setup, then the right arrow key. The chart setup screen should appear, make sure you have (show temperature) set on yes. God knows, I've screwed mine up enough times pushing buttons and trying to fish and operate the boat at the same time.

I was aboard Forrestal in 1967 and 1968. Did the WestPac cruise in 67 and the Med cruise in 1968. My squadron lost 43 of the 134 men in the fire. We were with Cag-17 VF-11, VF-74, VA-46, VA-85, VA-106 and VAH-11, I think most of us were out of Oceana, VA. Are you a member of the Forrestal Association? They put out a newsletter 4 times a year, and also have an annual reunion. If you were interested in joining it, shoot me an e-mail.
