I have a 2025 pro V and I am changing the transducer from a duel 50/200 Khz to a single 200Khz because we suspect it is bad. The duel is 36 Degree on the 50Khz and 12 degree on the 200Khz and the single 200Khz is 21 degree I don't fish in salt water and rarely in water over 45 feet so Lowrance sent me a 200 Khz which I think will be better in fresh water with better coverage . The question is with all the setting on the transducer like ABCDE I was kinda of confused so what I done in the past is try to run the transducer level and with the bottom of the boat with the tranducer running just below the bottom of the boat. If you read the installation manual there a ton of setting AB AC AD ect, and I have never had trouble in the past mounting the transducer but maybe this on is more sensitive and how far away from the motor should it be. Any suggestions or tips would help because this X-15 has been a bear.
