Has anyone tried these rod holders? They say that they are small tackle rod holders. What do they mean by small tackle? Do they work well?

For Fentress,I'm only aware of the rocket tube rod holders, which are fine as long as you make sure there is enough room between the tubes, which some do not. Not sure if these are the ones you are querying about.

Its the 6 tube version. They are 24" in length
