View Full Version : Two Transducers?
I have a Lowrance X75,192kHz and a Si-tex 106CVS,200Khz depth sounders. Can I mount one transducer on the starboard and one on the portside of the transom?
Thanks,
Joe

Being that they are different kHz you should be alright.

I have x65 195kHz and a x15 200kHz mounted on either sides of the transom, angled a little away from eachother. They work good, not great. I have to fittle around with the Sensitivity and other stuff so they work together flawlessly. I think I loose some of what going on down there. But I can run all day and they never fowl each other up.

Usually the experts suggest transducers should differ by at least 20 mHZ to be compatable on the same boat.
However, if you are using one on each end of the boat and the water is not too deep, even the same frequencies may work OK. Give it a try, see how it goes.
