I am moving and need to rent a pick-up oneway to pull my boat to the new location. Anyone have any suggestions of what my options are. Check truck rentals, but they only rent the big ones,and I am just pulling the boat. The rest is already there...Any help is great thanks...

Been there, checked on that...I pulled a boat up from Miami Beach. I was looking for a pickup to rent too, but none of the big, one way rental places rented them. The one I ended up with was a 14 foot cube truck, F350(tandem axel), from UHAUL. They have a 2" ball welded on with easy wiring hookups. The truck pulled the ~4500 pounds easily. UHAUL had no problems with me pulling a boat. All the other rental places would only let me tow one of their trailers or they had a custom ball size that would only fit their trailers...UHAUL was very pleasant to deal with. Around $600 one way, 6 days & 1800 miles allowed.
