I am working on someone's 1996 Champion 180. I will be installing a Lowrance 320 and trying to figure out why his bilge and livewells are not working. I noticed that when I turn on the ignition he still has no power going to his power switch. He has no horn, bilge, livewell, etc. The boat will still turn over when I engage the ignition all the way right but that's it. I looked at the igniton switch and I pray that is not the problem because the ignition is connected to the entire wire assembly that appears to run about 20+ feet. the entire assembly would have to come out. Where would I look next? Thanks

My Champion has a fuse block located under the drivers counsel. You can check there or see if you power wire from the battery has an inline fuse. If i remember correctly the power wire for the livewells, graphs and other accessories is totally seperate from the power for the motor.

Thanks. On that fuse block(which is a pain in the A$$ to get to), does that have fuses inside there, or is it just the relay buttons on the outside?

Alright, I figured the problem out. The wires that connect to the circuit breaker in the back of the boat, where the kicker tank and oil resevoir are, is the problem. The back of the circuit breaker is totally corroded. The terminals are rusted off. That was wasy. The hard part is, and I'm hoping you guys and gals can help me, where can I purchase a new circuit breaker for this boat? It is a KLIXON breaker, but nobody in my area sells these. It's a 20amp breaker. Please help. Thank you.
