I am wrapping up a deal putting me into a New Lund Rebel 1650 Tiller. The question I have is what trolling motors am I going to need with this new boat to do both lake and river fishing? I currently have a 16' Lund V with a 36lb. thrust MinnKota Bow Mount (42" shaft) and a 41 lb. thrust Motor Guide (36" shaft) transom mount. I think the Motor Guide will still work fine but I wonder if I need a 48" shaft for the bow mount....any advise? Who has the best deals on trolling motors?
