Here's my question I dropped my X85 and I lost about 1 inch of the screen on the left side. The screen on that side does not show any detail or info. nothing is boken that I can see so I'm sure the liquid crystal got messed up. Would anyone know what it might cost to fix this problem or the cost to fix it?

While the X85 is still a current model, supposedly around $90. Don't wait long to send it in. Another fellow posted that it cost $200 to get his LMS 350 repaired because it is no longer considered a current model (X15 having come out and they want you to buy that)

Send the unit into Lowrance for repairs, you have lost connections for the LCD screen, it will cost around 90.00...As far as the 350a goes, the reason it cost so much to repair it, as most units are the 5 channel units. and It has to be updated to the 12 channel which is the only boards Lowrance have left to repair 350's...That means replacing your reciever including in this price. Not a bad price after all, after you think about.

Try re-booting the X-85. With the unit turned off, hold down the EXIT key while powering it up. When the screen comes on release both keys. If this does not help call Lowrance service line at 1.800.324.1356. Follow the recorded message to get to help with sonar only products. They are very helpful. You might beable to fix it over the phone with the techies help. Good Luck.
