View Full Version : Ranger 620 DVS Rod Locker
For those of you out there that own the 620, how many rods can you fit in the center rod locker? I know it likely depends on if you are loading it w/ spinning, casting, trolling or some combo of the 3.Also do you have any complaints about the rod locker itself or anything else about the 620 DVS itself. I am considering buying one. Thanks in advance.

the most i have had in mine is about 10. With 6 of them being line counters. I have had 8 line counters in there at one time, but then there is very little room for anything else. If I know that I'll be trolling most of the day i will leave the trolling rods on the deck of the boat and strap them down and store all my other rods. I do wish the rod storage was larger. If you arrange the rods properly you can get a bunch in there.
I'm real happy with the boat, lots of storage, pretty good ride, built pretty solid. I would recommend going with a light color to help hide water spots and scratches. Mine is dark red and it is tough to keep clean.

If I had my way I'd want 24 .....
I agree with the last post about color....Mine is also dark red.....
It's just like a black vehicle.....beautiful when clean,....
Only problem, it takes elbow grease to keep her pretty.....
can't just take her to a car wash......
But it's worth it....carry a couple towels with and wipe her down every time......

I pull the toobs out of mine, I can get 25-30 rod blanks this way. When prefishing a tourny, I carry all rods and keep the reels in a side compartment. If your interested I have a 621DVS for sale, Email me at wallenater@aol.com
