Hope someone can offer some insite here. Got my boat back from dealers last weak after getting some work done to the hull over the winter. The motor was pulled off and reinstalled to allow the work to be done. Tank was drained and fresh gas put in. It is a 2001 2stroke 90hp. Started fine but after a couple minutes it started acting like someone was flipping a toggle switch on and off. Seemed like I was loosing a cylinder but the strange thing was it was instantaneous and would only start after the motor seemed to get good and warm. I would fish for an hour or two and then move and motor would run fine until it seemed to get warmed up realgood and start happening again. It was very spuratic almost like a loose wire was causing it. I never made any real long runs as I was fishing a 2 mile river stretch.
