johnson 4- stroke motor

I'm considering the 03 140 johnson 4-stroke. I know johnson has a new owner. Does anybody think this motor is worth taking a chance on or should I stay away. Let me know thanks.

That Johnson 140 4 stroke is really made by Suzuki. I've had one for a season now and really like it. You can search the archives for "Suzuki 140" in the subject line (click on also search the archived threads) to find out other opinions...

I have an 03 90 hp Johnson 4 stroke which is the 140 with slight changes. It is a honey and what a sweet runner.
