I'm looking at ordering a new 1800 Pro-V rig.

Does anyone know when Lund starts manufacturing their '04 Pro-V
hulls, and closes out their '03 line ? Any suggestions on whether
it's worth the wait for the '04 Pro-V hull, rather than the '03 ?

Any idea on build time, once an order is placed ?

I'm looking at the 1800 Pro-V hull - either the tiller or the IPS.

Thanks

Why wait? Order it now and enjoy it this summer! A great boat!

Rich,

The earliest you will be able to get your hands on a 2004 Pro V will be end of May/early June, depending on if your dealer orders any 2004's at this time. Typically, this is when Lund changes over the model years. So, you may not have a new Lund for fishing opener, but if your dealer does it right, you might have it in time for Memorial Day weekend.

I also assume you mean the tiller or IFS (vs. the IPS, reference to the hull).

Good luck with your decision.

Steve, you sound like you may have the inside scoop. Might you be a dealer? Have you ordered any 2004's and what kind of changes might we see on the 2004? Will the 2004 Pro V 1800 have the IPS II hull?

I am lucky to have some fishing buddies/friends who work with Lund. But even they don't tell me all their secrets.
