I HAVE BEEN FISHING FOR WALLEYES FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS BUT I HAVE NEVER TRIED NIGHT FISHING. SOME GUYS SAY IT WORKS, BUT WHAT SHOULD I USE AND HOW SHOULD I PRESENT IT.

THANKS, PAUL

Try finding a shallow rock reef or the sharpest drop-off from a shoreline or flat. My personal favorite approach is to use a slip bobber and a leech. Always fish the windblown side first. Another approach a lot people use is to find a piece of structure and troll a crank over it. Basicaly it's the same as day fishing, only a little shallower. Good luck!

I'd recommend buying the video that PWT pro Mark Martin has that is all about night fishing for 'eyes. I think you can get it through the In-Fisherman website. Mark fishes the PWT and guides on Lake Muskegon in Muskegon, MI, and his "thing" is night fishing. My brother and I have gone up there and fished twice with him. We met him at 11pm at the dock and fished until 6am. Caught some nice 'eyes and it was quiet and we definately had the water pretty much to ourselves. Good luck.
