my 1775 has two half seat pedestal bases in the middle of the boat, one on each side of the gas tank cover, but most of my passengers agree that there is not enough leg room in either spot. Is the wood decking on top of the tank strong enough to support a full base? I know that there is very little clearence below the cover, but what about one of those bases that is raised up and is mounted flush without a hole? Thanks for any input on this
