how to care for alum. hull?

Ok this has been covered before I'm shur, but I'm new to alum. hulls and would like to know how you guys clean and wax them? Can I use the same wax as on fiberglass? Do I need to wax alum.?

If the hull is painted, you can wax with a good quality marine wax. If the hull is bare aluminum, do nothing, except to wash. The bare aluminum oxidizes, actually creating a kind of protective coating. This applies to fresh water use.
