Has anyone ever removed the lower cowling to help with the ease of removing the bottom plugs and the removing the water seperator? My fingers are so fat I cannot get then into the tight spaces. Might have to have my son do it for me. I just wonder if the lower cowl would unscrew fairly easy simplifying the job. Also does the water seperator sensing wire just just plug in the bottom or is there a screw on connector? Manual says pull it off.....just want to make sure. Thanks for any help!

Here is a little tip the guys in the back room showed me. Use a piece of gas line instead of your fingers to put in those tough plugs. Also you will need a spark plug wrench that swivels. I changed the lpugs on my old opti and didn'i have to emove the lower cowling.
