I am thinking about upgrading to a 24 volt, 65 pound thrust, trolling motor and am looking at these two models. What are the main differences? Also, what are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Any help and information would be appreciated.

MinnKota Powerdrive- uses battery power to turn the motor
easy to operate
hold course very well
is a little slower to respond compared to a
cable driven
All-Terrain- is cable driven so it doesnt use/waste any of your
battery power to turn the motor itself!
easy to control
has instantanius response
I have used both and there are good motors! The only downside I saw to my Powerdrive was I ran it with a 12 volt so between turning it and using it for power, my battery ran down pretty fast! Good Luck with your decisions and just shout at me if you have any other questions or need help! Take Care.
