Does anyone have a good suggestion on how to clean the carpet in my boat. I've tried the Wet-Dry Vac, A Brush, the Dirt Devil, and nothing works great. They all work, but it takes a sweat to get the carpet clean. There must be a easier way? Any ideas??

I hose mine off at the car wash. Use the rinse water only. If you have some tough spots spry them down with a carpet cleaner prior to hosing it down.
Pretreat with simple green and then head to the car wash to HP hose it out. It works great on fish slime, blood and guts, scales etc.

I did my boat carpet recently with Bissell's new upright machine. I removed all the seat bases from the floor so I had an even surface to work with. I didn one pass with solution and then about five more passes with straight water until the water started coming out clean. It took only 1/2 hour and my carpet was clean like it hasn't been in years.
I've vacuumed it, sprayed it at the carwash, etc, but this was by far the easiest and cleanest method I've found.

I use the car wash method also. Then i get home and hit it with my big shop vac.
To really make it look like new, take a steel brush and brush the carpet against the grain to make it stand up. It relly looks great.
