Just a note to crow about the long awaited arrival of the new ride.
I parked a 2003 Crestliner Sportfish 1850 with a 175 'Rude Ficht on a roller trailer in the yard today. Ordered her Feb 24th and be all grins today :)
Came complete with full canvas set, X-87, MK AP 65, Aft bench seat (don't get a SF without 1 !!), CD player, Guest on-board charger, tilt steering wheel, slider mount on captains seat, snap on cover,Brakes/swing tongue on trailer.
The new babe is pretty with red sides and a white motor that should have a some real scoot to her. I won't be drag racing any motors on a shingle (bass boats) but it will be more than I should ever need.
Now I get to pick out the spare and mount, GPS, and guide-ons. I'm leaning towards a Garmin 176 so I can use it in the truck and boat. Anyone have any input on the 176s?
Time to tuck her in for the night :7

Congrats on the new boat. Don't kiss it goodnight in the yard. The neighbors will gossip.

You got yourself a great rig. Enjoy the heck out of it.

Sweet! Congrats man.

I have 4.5 hours on mine since Friday and that 140 johnson 4 stroke is awsome. I can get her up to 50 with a lighter load and about 46-47 with a full load. Your 175 is going to make her really fly.

Let me know how it does after you get her in the water.

Congrats - one of my buddies got the same rig except with a 135 Merc Opti.

I agree 100% on the rear bench - very slick!

I was also looking at the 76 and 76s, I wound up buying mine at the Minneapolis Sport Show. I spoke with several local shops that were at the show and Garmin - they all recommended the 76 over the 76s. It's $100 cheaper and all you lose is an altimiter and a "real time" compass.

Good Luck!

Many congrats!!!I am going nuts waiting for my SuperHawk and am envious that you at the very least can kiss yours g'nite!!! I was told that mine will be in the first week of May, the engines(150 Evinrude Ficht, 9.9 Johnson 4 stroke)are already in and waiting. Did your dealer give you any specifics on break-in on the 'Rude? Mine is ordered with the black graphics and full topset. Does the topset fold down to the floor, or is it in the way, 'cause I have only seen pictures from the catalog with the top up?
Best of everything!!!!

The top folds flat to the floor behind the back two seats. I haven't put it up yet, I'll have to let you know how easy it is to get up and down.
According to the book the break in is basicly 10 minutes at fast idle, 50 minutes below 3500 RPM (if I remember correctly) then 9 hours of varying the throddle every ten minutes or so. No extra gas mixing, the computer does all the hard work for you.
At work now, DYING to get outta here and hit the water :)

The top sets up very easy. You can put it up and take it down in less than a minute. It's putting the cover on it when your done that takes the time.

Timed the top installation tonight. With the help of a 10 yr old son it took 7 minutes to install the cover. First time up for the sun top and curtains was a mite longer tho :)
