I'm looking at the Piranha locators. I would like to get the 5 but is it worth the extra 50 bucks? The 4 looks good but I like the 53deg cone on the 5. Please let me know.

I like mine... Mine is just a regular Piranha! I've had it on 2 different boats now as a bowmount locator on my bassboat. I like the fact that its so small and doesnt take up to much room on my casting deck! Transducer is nice and small also easy top install on trolling motor. Very nice locator! I havn't had any experience with any of the number'd models! Good Luck. Hope This helps! Take Care

I have a '5', I made it portable for fishing small lakes. You gotta love that 53 degree cone in shallow water. Look at Wal-mart, they usually have the best prices.
