I have this unit and must say it is not very user friendly. I have been screwing around trying to figure out how to re-set the time since DayLight Savings time and can't seem to figure it out. Even the user manual doesn't seem to address it. Anyone w/the same unit that can give any direction? Thanks in advance.
Hit the menu button twice, scroll down to "System Setup", scroll right, then scroll down to "Set Local Time".
While the manual is fairly large, it's a snooze to read it. I have found the best way to learn the unit is to download the emulater from Lowrance. It's like palying with the actual unit.
Hope this helps.

Just to add to Shep's absolutely correct instructions, when you get to Set Local Time, press ENT. This will set the cursor inside the time field and permit you to change the inidividual digits. Use left/right arrow to select the digit field to change; up/down arrow to change the actual digit. Press ENT when done.
All there is to it! Bear in mind that the GPS module will (should) adjust the minute/second value, based upon the next fix it receives from the GPS satellites, so you don't have to be extremely accurate when setting local time.
