The Lund cover for my new boat is very rough and is going to sandpaper away the paint on my boat. Additionally, it has bungees to hooks on the splash rail and those will wear the paint off (the boat already shows mars after 1100 miles of trailering).

Is there a good cover maker in the Milwaukee area?

Also, should I be looking at a snap cover?

Do you guys cover your motors as well as the boat? My cover does not reach the motor and the motor is looking pretty dusty despite the fact it is stored in my garage.

Fountain Of Youth For Boats in North Prairie, WI. I recently had one made and love it. A true traveling cover. Let me know I can e-mail you a picture.

Thank you. I called them today and will visit them to look at their operation. Did you have snaps put on your cover? That is what I am thinking about.

By the way, they have 3 locations listed in my yellow pages but only one of them (the location that you named) is still active. Do you know anything about why that happened?

There a several good cover places in Milwaukee area. I had my last two made at Custom Faberkin in Fond du Lac. One day service, and theye do a great job. Also, there ia Ace Canvas in West Bend. Had one done there, about 8 years ago. It still looked new when I sold that boat last year.

Tight Lines All,
