Registration sticker on new 617 -where?

Ok, I got the new rig, now do I really have to put those aweful stickers on the side? I know I do... I know the MN DNR tells me where, but where did you put yours, over or under the side rail bumper? and how far toward the front of the boat, right where the Ranger strip begins?

Any input on what looks best? Don't like $10 stickers just plastered on my expensive boat....

I feel your pain. I have a new 619 and just put my stickers on yesterday. My ID numbers start 26 inches from the front and are spaced according to the 2003 boat regs. The MN is a little tucked under, but no numbers are on any of the pin stripes. I didn't want any of my numbers interferring with the looks. Hope this helps.
