A year ago I had my lower unit on my 30hp Johnson pressure tested and after putting in 2 new screws and washers it was fine. A couple of weeks ago I was running my boat in about 3 feet of water in Clear Lake, IA and felt the motor hit something. As I looked back I saw a carp come to the surface like I hit it wit the prop. Anyway, when putting the boat away, I have noticed a small bit of lube with a little bit of a milky color dripping off of the bottom of the prop. It only seems to be a little bit (less than a teaspoon for sure) and the level in the top hole is still up. Is it possible that hitting the carp has caused some damage? I removed the prop today and the prop shaft does have a little bit of play in it. Thanks.
