I like having a roller trailer for the shallow landings but would like to have a little more keel support soooo....
I have been considering adding more rollers to the aft roller mount plate. Has anyone ever tried this and it did have an adverse affect on loading or carrying the boat?
The plate has holes in it for two more sets of rollers, it is a 2800lb trailer (2800lb has 4 rollers and the 3100 has 8 rollers)and a CL 1850 Sportfish.

You shouldn't need any more rollers if the boat is sitting on the trailer properly. The very back 2 rollers, one on either side, should be just outside the edge of the transom by a 3rd of the roller to even half. This will put the weight of the boat dirrectly under the edge of the transom where it's the strongest.
I just looked at your post again and then at the specs on your trailer at the EZ Loader web sight and with your boat, I'd rather have the double rollers in the back also. They won't interfer at all with any aspect of trailering and will give more support. I'd go for it.
