Hello, I just bought a used 1998 Alumacraft Lunker v16 LTD mag. The boat comes with a side counsel and toggle switches. First switch is NAV/Anchor. What's this for? The others are self explanitory. I haven't messed with the live-well yet. Any help there would be appreciated. Last there is a small port about the size of a golf ball at the tail end of the boat(at the rear of the livewell compartment) this port has small rubber flanges around it. What is that all about? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks JG

Navigation light on the front and the back at the same time. The Anchor is the back light on only.

Also the rubber port is probably the socket for the all around light (a small white light on a pole) that is probably hidden in the rod locker on a clip holder. You just remove the rubber plug (keeps water out) and push the base of the all around light into the hole. Some have a plastic sleeve that wedges in and turns to lock it in place. Some just push in. Remember, you have the switch in NAV position when underway between sunset and sunrise, and in ANC position when not underway.

Another interesting thing to know is that at night while underway, if you can see a green bow light on an approching boat, you have the right of way, if you see a red light, you must give way. Either way, slow down and watch carefully, and be ready for anything. It is ALWAYS better to err on the side of caution. eek
