Hey gang,

I need to know where to purchase the Ultra-Ride seat suspension systems.

I am in the MLPS area, however, location is not an issue.

Any places in mind??

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Glyde Rydes and Ultra Rydes are two different products. Like Ebi said, you can get the Glyde Rydes from Walleye Central. I'm not sure where you can get Ultra Rydes though. You might be able to get that information from Mike Peluso. He used to have the Ultra Rydes in his boat last year, but I don't think he is using them this year? He might have gone with Glyde Rydes. I'm not sure.
You can send Mike an email at walleye1343@cs.com to find out.

Hey Juls,

Can you give me a thumbs-up on Glyde-Ryde? They look the same as Ultra-Ride - are they? The word I have is that the Glyde-Ryde folks came from Ultra-Ride. True? What's the differences in the units? Any help? Anyone? The folks that are selling Ulra-Rides are saying Glyde-Rydes are inferior because they could not use patented designs from Ultra-Ride. True? Does Glyde-Ryde have a heavy model? What is the weight range of the Glyde Ryde?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

Dave, the basic unit that Glyde Rydes are made from is a fork lift/ ag model unit that I import from Spain and it is highly modified for marine applications. While both units achieve the same results, side by side significant differences are easily apparent. You have Fords and you have Chevys out there. Both get the job done and save the body.

You bet I can give a thumbs up on Glyde Rydes! I love them!
They do have a new model coming out called the Gorrilla. It's a heavy duty model.
You can see John Estes's (owner of Glyde Rydes) chat from 5-23-2001 at the following address:

Check it out, and maybe some of your questions can be answered there.

I have had the opportunity to ride on both the Ultra Rides and the Glyde Rydes, and I liked the Glyde Rydes better. I can't tell you specifically why, it was just a female intuition thingy, and also the fact that the Ultra Rides almost bounced me right out of the boat..I prefer to ride in the boat..heheh ;-)
