I'm torn between two kicker motor brackets and was looking for some advice. I've seen the "bracket pro" that is featured on the products page here at WC. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with a bracket that PWT Pro Steve Pohl makes? The cost is only $40 difference and was wondering if anyone had either, and how they like them. Panther products are out, too expensive. Thanks in advance.

I have Steve Polls bracket and right now it is bent up pretty good but it still works. I would use a rachet strap on his bracket that seems to work. I think the bracket pro is a little pricey for what it is but maybe it will be stronger for you. Thats my thoughts anyway!

I have the Bracked Pro and put it through the test several
times this summer. I is built strong - NO BENDING with this product as it is made of SS. Price is right also. Guess ya kinda get what you pay for.

Bite the bullet and go for the Panther, you'll be glad you did. It's not that much more and worth every penny.

If you are running on water that can get rough than Panther is the way to go. Mine has three years on it without any problems, and I've run in some rough water.

Not that much difference in cost? Let's see, Bracket Pro =$160, Steve Pohl bracket= $120, Panther= $500. Am I missing something? I would also by a Yarcraft 21ft boat with a 225hp on it compared to the Yarcraft 17ft boat with the 75hp I currently have if the price wasnt that much different. Anyone else out there have an opinion to my original post? Thanks.

I'VE GOT A BRACKET PRO ON MY BOAT AND YOU COULD NOT GET IT AWAY FROM ME. ALL THE ROUGH WATER YOU CAN RUN AND IT DON'T MOVE. AND THE GUARENTEE IS GOOD. CALL ROBERT AND TELL HIM I SENT YOU. GOOD LUCK.

Fishweye, if you had a bracket pro it wouldn't have bent and if anything did go wrong with it - it is GUARENTEED for life. Doesn't get much better than that. Only takes a short few min to install is another plus.
