I have an older Ambassadeur 5500C, I believe it was some type of anniversary or collectors model. It has light blue/silver side plates, and gold plating all over it. My question is how do I get it to work properly. It has a cast control knob on both sides, I am only familiar with the ones that are under the handle. The reel has two pieces that I do not know what side the belong under. One is a small cupped brass piece, and the other is a brass disk with a hole in the center and a piece of light steel attached to it with two tabs on it. I do not know how to assemble the two knobs to get the reel functioning properly. Any help is appreciated.
