Does Bass Pro or Cabelas sell an extra long shank jig for 3 to 4 inch grubs? I want to find a hook that exits the grub body right where the tail begins to avoid short hits. Thanks

If you can't find what you're looking for do what I do. Just bite off as much of the head end as you need to get the hook in the position you desire. They're adjustable!! Skeeter Boy

Just don't let it get stuck in your teeth... I can't imagine that power grubs taste too great. :)

I`ve never found any long-shanks so I make my own. You can buy the stuff for making jigs from Barlows.com Some manufacturers are now making an extra long shank hook that does not bend open like the light wire models do. I make my own in 3/32-1/4 oz. They work great with grubs and with the 4" ring worms that I use on the Mississippi river. Can`t find what you like or what you need....make your own,it`s easy. Beav

there is a company in Milwaukee called "Jack's" he makes all sorts of different jigs. He has a series of jigs named the "hawg" series. It looks like thsese might be exactly what you're looking for. the number is 1-800-858-5225. I don't think he has a web site. hope this helps
