View Full Version : Hey there rooster, how do I get ya?
I would like a rooster tail, not too concerned with lose of speed as I am really moving now. I really like the looks. Are there any tricks to it? Running a fast glass book with a 250 hpdi on it with a 19 ss temptest. Scene them bass boys go bye and think I could use a tail as well. BT

Just hang your thingy out the back of the boat and make your own rooster tail.

Both really good answers however, you may want to raise your motor a little (I'm assumin' you have a jackplate) so that your prop starts to surface. If your piloting a bass boat, you better have a water pressure guage, and make sure it don't go below approx 12psi. When that happens, mr. rooster will be yours.
No jack plate, but thanks for the mature response compared to the other boozoes...BT
