Have a friend who owns a 617 - older with a tiller - awesome for the fishing we do. Another friend is now interested in a boat setup like this also - checked on the ranger website... looked briefly and saw no mention on the site of tillers now being an option... is this the case or is it something that must be added on during the ordering phase??? Thanks, Chuckles

Ranger for sure makes a 20 foot tiller called a 620T and I believe that was the only one in there Line up. It is a nice boat but it is not cheap. A buddie of mine who is a guide say's it's the best guide boat he has ever had and is for sale this fall.

Ranger is ready to coming out with a 618 tiller. The layout and width will be the same as the 620 tiller only the boat will be 18 instead of 20 feet long. I have heard that is will be rated for a 90hp tiller. The Ranger 620T is shown in their catalog and on their web site.

I owned a new 617 tiller but it was too small for the waters I fish. For the smaller lakes it was a great boat. The 620 tiller seems too big for just me and my wife so I am hoping the new 618 tiller will be just perfect.

I now fish out of a YarCraft 1785BT with a 70hp four stroke Suzuki tiller and this is one sweet rig but I have always been a Ranger fan.
