Evinrude 88hp

I am considering a purchase of a alum. boat with a 1987 evinrude 88hp.I believe its the same as a 90hp just not oil injected. My concern is mixing fuel into the 24 gal.built in tank.can you just go to the gas station fill it up, then dump in the proper amount of oil and hope it gets mixed up. does anyone have any experience with this type of set-up?

That's the way all boats with built in tanks used to be. The best thing to do is add the correct amount of oil first and the flow from the gas will mix it fairly well.
