I was just wondering where we are with this? Gilligan......Sluggo......HOW ARE YOOOU DOOOOING?? I suspect we are still "On" for this but I haven't heard from you in a while.
I posted here to catch anyone that may have been missed on our previous postings.
If anyone doesn't know......We are planning an "Eastern" WC get together for 4 and 5 or 3, 4 and 5 August, in Barcelona NY and you're welcome to come. I think! ;-)

Bob, I apologize for the lack of communication. I did just send out a note..and YES..we're still on! I've got about 30 people on my list (including several pros that will be fishing the PWT event). As Bob mentioned..anyone else interested in joining us for a cookout and mini tourney..drop me a note at jstack5478@aol.com. The more..the merrier! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris Stack)

It would be great when Walleye Central outings are held, that those participating send photos of the event (properly identified) to me, along with the time and place and a related article for publication in the Walleye Central Magazine. Thanks!

Bob..I'll be taking plenty of pictures and will keep notes so I can supply you with info after the event. Hopefully, one of the attendees will have a digital camera as well! I made Scott aware of this quite a while ago and he gave me his blessing to consider it a Walleye Central Get-together. He also mentioned that the WC trailer might be out there for the Dunkirk PWT tourney at that time? Do you know if it will? Thanks for all your hard work, Sluggo (Chris Stack)

Sluggo, I plan on bringing a couple of my digital cameras. I will also bring film for those that need/want it. I plan on a supply of slide film and color negative film. If anyone has any special film needs, I may be able to help out. As long as it's Kodak!! Seeing as how I am a manager of a photo lab,I will also be able to supply prints from digital files to those that attend and want pictures. I can't do the film processing but will bring a laptop to download and store any digital camera images. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Pete

LAST EDITED ON Jul-06-01 AT 11:44AM (CST)[p]eyedoktr,
If you're serious, I had planned on bringing my 35 mm's. ASA 100 in print will be good and Thank You! I will scan them and send to Scott and Kaz and anyone else that wants them.
I think it might be a good idea to get pictures of everyones' ride and sled and do a "Bass & Walleye Boats" "hotrigs" exposition, too. What do you think?
Thanks, man!

Chris,
I will be up for the get to-gether. I could use some 400 speed film for a 35 mm. I will scan all pictures I take and send them to Scott and Kaz. See you at the dock! JJ

LAST EDITED ON Jul-07-01 AT 08:43PM (CST)[p]The get together at Westfield NY-Barcelona Harbor will be Aug 4th. (Either myself or Sluggo will email Scott with more concise information, directions, motels etc) It will coincide with the time that the PWT will be prefishing for the Dunkirk NY tournament.(16 miles east of Barcelona) This may be a good time for some of the WC folks to get a chance to prefish with some of the pros. We will have a cookout after the tournament on Saturday at the Theatre Motel where many of us are staying. If any of you are signed up for the PWT tournament BE CAREFUL using their list of motel recomendations!!!!! Some of these places are well over a hour drive to Dunkirk!!!!!!
The last I knew this motel is booked up at least till Sunday unless there has been some cancelations. The # is 716-326-2161. They are $45 a nite but if you stay 7 days they run a special rate of $180.. be sure to ask for it. Not a luxury facility but clean and lots of parking for rigs.
There are NO fish cleaning facilities at the harbor but I've made arrangments with a private landowner with a cleaning table, water and electric for a fee but will need to make a 20 minute drive to the facility.
Sluggo and I live 130 miles away from each other but we'll be together for a tournament next weekend and will work on loose ends.

Sounds good, Fred! We're looking forward to this.
You said you had about 30 people on your list. Are those WC respondents or total count? The reason I am asking is because I was a respondent to you but my bother-in-law and son are coming with me. Do you need a total head count? Tell me how I can help.

The list we have includes only WC respondents..I'd really like a total head count. I plan on picking up goodies for the cookout locally, so a close count would be helpful. As Fred mentioned, we'll be getting together this weekend and will iron out the details. I'll be sending out a note on my return! See you in a few weeks! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)

As I said, let me know if I can help. I am DONE with the Class Reunion (we had it this past weekend) and I have more free time now.

Hey Gang,
When you scan photos to send in to Kaz for the magazine, make sure the resolution is at least 350 dpi!
100 or 150 may be fine for the web site, but these pictures look terrible in the magazine.
Contact Kaz to make sure you have the right format, resolution and pixel count.
Have fun at Erie............R
