Hawk or Eagle backtroller, and why? What is the big difference between the two models?

I have never been in the Hawk model, to be honest I've never heard of it. I own a 1890 Eagle BT and love it. It's the best BT I've ever been in, you can't go wrong with it!!
This website should be able to give you the specifics on the differences between the two models. http://www.warrior-boats.com/models.html
In overview, the Eagle has more standard features, a fiberglass top cap and a fancier trailer. The hulls come out of the same mold.
Which models are you looking at? There is also the falcon model, which has all the standard features but doesn’t have the glass top cap. This might be a happy medium. If you are fishing tournaments I would suggest the Eagle or the Falcon model because of the larger live well systems and timers. Either is a great choice. I have driven just about every Warrior model so if you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at haluck1@yahoo.com

That being said, is there a price difference between the Eagle and the Falcon? I think I would prefer the Falcon so I dont go snow blind in the boat on a sunny day....LOL!! Actually, I like the look of the carpeted interior much better.
Yes I believe the Falcons are less money than the Eagles but you'll have to check with a dealer on that one. Where are you from? If you're up for a closer look I might be able to point you in the right direction.
the hawk has the carpeted gunnel. I own a Warrior Python 1992 17ft BT it is the boat prior to the Eagle. It has the white gunnels. The boat is awesome in rough water. It is still in mint condition with a 75 suzuki tiller. The one thing with the white gunnels is that they always show dirt. I like the idea of the carpeted Falcon better. I am sure you will love the boat it is awesome. The only downfall of the Warrior is that the side rod lockers are way too small and the gunnels are too wide. they take away from boat space. The boats themselves are real wide but after you subtract the gunnel width they are not that wide anymore. But all in all a great boat for big water. Very smooth and tuff as nails.
good luck.
By the way if you know of anyone looking for a mint condition 1992 warrior BT have them e-mail me at raleonhard@matrixpm.com
I am just starting to look for a new one.
Thanks

To clear up the confusion, the eagle is the on with a fiberglass gunnel on it, the falcon has the same options but has a carpeted top of a gunnel, and the hawk has a narrow rail for a gunnel and less options, the construction of all the hull is the same except the xst (high horsepower tillers) models
