What is the best stainless steel prop to use with a 2001 lund 2025 with a 225 HP Honda 4 stroke with a HEAVY load?

With a heavy load I would tend to run a 4 blade prop like a Mercury OffShore prop. With a heavy load you will probably be at a 19p and I base that on the fact that I run a similar rig loaded and that seem to be the best pitch. I think the best thing to do is demo the prop and see if you like it. I run a Yamaha and run Mercury props because I think they have the best selection out there.

PJM, what diameter is the 19 pitch offshore prop? Will it offer more bow lift than a say a Lazer II?

A Lazer II is not a good fit for your boat and the reason your hull is to heavy and the boat is to long. The diameter on the Lazer is to small to so you will have to run the motor lower on the transom causing more drag. With a larger diameter like a Tempest or Mirage you can raise the engine because the blades drop deeper into the water and also you have the torque with the 225hp Honda to push the big wheel. On a four blade they tend to run a little smaller in diameter because now you have more blade surface and along with that you can run higher on the transom, it will handle better in rough water and give you better hole shot and low end power. The down side is you might loose a couple of mph on top end, but that's no big deal.
