I have this unit on the dash of my boat and would like to set up a second mounting station in the back of my boat for when I operate the kicker motor with tiller. Garmin sells a second mounting station that includes a power cord and gimbel bracket but my question involves the external antenna that I have with my unit. Can you hook up some kind of two way box to split the GPS antenna cable instead of just moving the antenna wire from dash to rear each time I want to use it? I know I wouldn't have this problem is if purchased the internal antenna version but I thought I would be better off the the external version.
