My motor is a 1993 yamaha pro v 115, it has never failed or even hiccuped since new, and it is not babied! When I bought it new the battery went dead, I was told to put a switch on to disconnect the batteries cause the gauges would wear it down........now it seems the battery wont charge,I put a battery checker on and a charging checker on, it shows what the battery is at but shows no charging, would it be the alternator??? I checked for fuses, and all are good.The battery is 2 years old and holds at a load check.......PS. I own a 9.9 4stroke, a 25 horse 4 stroke also, I love my Yamaha`s any help is appreciated, Thank You
