Hey so what if the earth is warming up.Who cares if the tornado alley is moving down south. For years the folks up north complained about too much snow, it will snow again, some where.Ok so we went for almost two months with out rain in our area this summer, I dont have any problems with my drinking water, and theres much better things to do than worry about grass. If things change, there is nothing that we can do about it anyway. So the polar ice cap is melting, big deal, when the water level reaches 950 ft, then I'll start to worry. The fuel prices are coming down again , so we all are happy, besides all this stuff they worry about is going to take many years to develope, most of us will be long gone by then, lets just fish, and not call each other names, uncle sugar will figure something out to save the coming generations, look how well we are doing today, and folks worried about what was going to happen in the 20 th century.

Ha ha! That's pretty much it. Don't worry about anything now, just enjoy life. Don't worry about environmental issues because it's the young people who will have to deal with it, not you. As long as things are bearable for your life time, who cares about the coming generations. Sombody else will solve the worlds problems so you can just relax and enjoy yourself.

Don't get me wrong, I like to be carefree and look at everything in a positive light, but it's that attitude that is already killing this planet. If you're wondering why opinions like those give me such a bad taste in my mouth, it's because I'm one of the young people who will be dealing with this planet when you are gone. :-(

No, it wasn't easy for me to say. I have 5 grandchildren who are going to need to pay the bills for our excesses. If indeed the weather is changing, and there will be many folks who say thats only an urban myth thing, then its going to take a very syrong dose of bitter medicine to start the cure.it seems that we just dont want to face the fact, that we are the ones causing a lot of these problems.A lot of us point to the cleaning up of our waters, but what in fact did we do? A lot of the clean up was caused by our smoke stack industrys going belly up.Another big contributor was an accident, the zebra mussel. We are in the process, here in Ky of almost clear cutting our hardwood forests, strip mining is still going on, only no one talks about it, cause we want cheap energy.Dont worry be happy, was just my way of saying that we overslept, and we better get our butts ready to face some hard times even in my limited amount of designated time left on this earth.

In my career as an Environmental tech. I have seen alot of changes over the years. All of these changes are for the better of our Env. I have worked pretty **** hard trying to meet some of the Compliance standards set forth by the EPA and the MPCA here in Minnesota. But never the less, I have met these standards with education and willingness to protect our resources. But the truth is no matter how hard we try, or how hard we work to achieve our perfect Environment, It will all end one day. No,I will not be here on earth to witness it, but it will happen. And when our last day comes mother earth will still be there. Earth will clean it's self while humans are gone and make way for new life, just like it has done for millions of years. So, Larry almost has it right. Don't worry, be happy, and do your part to make it last as long as we can.
