The gas gauge, on a new Alumacraft, reads fine until is gets to half a tank and then it goes to empty. It is frustrating to have half a tank of gas and the gauge reads empty. How do these gauges work and is there anything I can check?

Not sure how yours works, probably on a float, your dealer can adjust very easy.
My Dad always said
"When everything fails read the directions"
Please tell us how they can adjust for that?I am very curious.

Some generic sending units have floats you can slide up and down the arm if thats what he is talking about.
