Does anyone know how long it would take me to drive from Toledo airport to Marblehead, near Sandusky, for some walleye fishing on Erie?
I would give yourself about an hour and a half! You can get on the turnpike right in front of the airport and go east to the Fremont exit (Rt 53) then north to Rt 2, turn east and then follow the signs to Marblehead, I think to Rt 163?

Probably about 2 to 2 1/2 hours is my guess.
Take Airport Hwy (Rte 2) East to 23. Go north on 23 to 475 East. Take 475 east to 75 north and 75 North to 280 South. Get off 280 south at exit #7 and turn Left. You will be back on Rte 2 but will have missed going through downtown and some not so nice areas. Stay on Rte 2 going East till you get to the Marblehead exit you want.
Hope this helps. If you need more info just ask.

This is close. After you take the Route 53 exit from the turnpike, Route 53 merges with Route 2 for awhile. Once you go east on Rt2 / Rt 53 take the exit for Route 53 north. Then turn right on Route 163 at the Wal-Mart strip mall.
Taking the turnpike is alot faster than taking US23 / I475 to I75 to I280.

Swat...WAY too much construction that way right now, plus its much slower and longer going that way.
Thanks, guys, for the insight. I really appreciate it!
