How often do you guys recommend replacing shocks on 1/2 gmc used primarily as a tow vehicle for 6 years - 75,000 miles?? Mine seems like its getting sloppy on the bumps and some body roll when towing.

I changed mine at 50K - amazing difference! You don't feel them slowly fade away over the years but a new set is a eye opener.

Agreed. Waited a little long to replace mine, but is now like a new truck. Consider Monroe Reflex shocks. A real nice truck shock for the money. Been real happy, otherwise Bilstiens if you dont mind paying a little more. You probably have Bilstiens as original equipment, but they are made to GM specs, the aftermarket are to Bilstien specs, much better.
