Noticed that Reef Runners come in at least four sizes: Little Rippers, Deep Diving Little Rippers, Ripsticks, and Deep Diver. Do you fish all of these sizes or do you have favorite sizes? Smaller baits in the Spring and summer and then larger Deep Diver in the late Summer and Fall?
Dave,
Your correct with the 4 styles. Each has it's time and place. I fish on Erie and use the big ones most, but on Ohio's inland lakes the small one are great. Matching the hatch is the right approach, so long as you consider the size of the fish your fishing for. We've caught some over 10 pounds on the Little Ripper at night, in shallow water, so size of the fish is not always the issue. You know best which is most likely to be your best choice. Little Ripper goes to a max depth of 6', Rip Stick goes to a max depth of 11', Deep Little Ripper maxes out at 21', and the Reef Runner goes to 28'. That may help make your desition. I expect you'll probably end up needing more than 1 style. Good luck and good fishing. Oh yea, don't forget to tune em!!

I agree with everything ETT said. I had great luck with the Deep Diving Reef Runners this June on Lake of the Woods on a large 25-30' reef. The lodge owner couldn't believe I got to the bottom without weights........I had to let out about 100 yards of line but was bouncing the rocks. You have to love the marketing plan they have with all of the colors and creative names for them. They're a beautiful looking lure.....if I was a walleye I'd want to eat one. My favorite color based on number of fish caught is Monkey Puke (you also have to love the name). Good luck.
