My question is for those that use the BracketPro kicker mount. I've looked at their site but still am not sure if it is adjustable for height so as to us a short shaft motor on a boat with a stepped transom. I thought I posted this yesterday but I sure can't find it!
Thanks,

hi bill!for your info. our company and a few other people did reply to you here on w/c with some very valuable info. but your post got dusted and you hanging.may be scott can fill you in on why.please give us a call with any questions. thank you.
Bill I responded to your post. It got dusted so I will repost
I have a Bracket Pro on my 99 15 hp 4 strk. It works great and has saved my kicker from damage in heavy seas. I attaches to your transom and takes the weight of the kicker off of its internal brackets which tend to be flimsy and redistributes the weight to the Transom. It however does not have any thing to do with the height of the motor it is only a support. If you want to use short shaft kicker on a deep hulled boat you need a mechanical or manual lift which has adjustable setback and height to get your kicker away from the transom and to drop it down to a proper height for its shaft length. Hope this helps.
