I have been trying to find a good prop for my Mr Pike 17 with a Yamy 4 stroke 115. After tring Turbo asst Merc props, Ballistic and Power Tech, I was able to find a Yamy Pro Series 19p in stock. This a prop works great hooks up good doesn't blow out. I had a 5" jackplate on before I installed the prop, so I do not know what it was like w/o. But with it the boat and motor goes 46mph gps and at 5800rpm jumps on palne right now. I have raised the motor to a point where I got good all around use, prop shaft is about 3 inches below the bottom.

By the way the Pwer Tech was a great prop but the 4 blades and large diameter just did not get the rpms where I wanted them to be.

I know this goaes against the other post about the big deal with speed but, who cares.

moreeyes I was wondering what Pitch and results you had with the Laser II as you probably know I have a Lund Also... Secondly I have no plans on installing a Jackplate, wondering if that Voids your Warranty?

I did not try a Laser 2, I was unable to find one to try but did try a Vengaence 18 and a Trophy 19?, I got better results from Ballistic, by far the best was a Yamaha Pro Series 19p. From the scouces I talked to a jackplate did not void the warrenty.
