Yea. You can do a little better at www.sparkplugs.com

May be about the same with shipping, you would have to check.

Sounds like alot of mark-up to me. I get my parts through my shop for cost and I paid less than $9.00 for the same four plugs a couple of weeks ago. Seems alittle greedy! Shop around. DJH

Check at West Marine or similar. I am paying less than $12 for a set of 4 NGK BP8H-N-10 for my 125 Merc.

I went through the same thing in MN. They have a couple different part numbers in thier computer. I brought in my old plug and they had the same ones for less then 10 bucks.

What does the "Z" stand for? My 125 is a 2002 and obviously has a different plug. Can anybody enlighten me? Thanks

I got 8 from sparkplugs.com and I think it was around $48, not that great of the deal. Frankly, these are expensive every where.

I think the Z designation has to do with the fact that these plugs have a special "V" shape at the top that allows the plugs to fire better under a variety of circumstances (lean, rich, bouncing around). This makes great sence in a marine application. Check them out at NGKs website.

I suppose maybe you could use regular cheaper plugs without the V configuration, but I would stick with what Merc recomends.
