Yamaha 250 HPDI Update

250 Owners,
Just received a notice today that Yamaha will be replacing the oil delivery system (if needed) and will receive new spark plugs- BKR6EKU and a case of oil free of charge.
The only thing in the bulletin that states if my motor needs it is if I feel that the motor uses too much oil at idle. After going through a few sets of plugs I will be taking the motor in for updates. Just thought I'd pass along the info. Good luck with your HPDIs....they are awesome!!!

Got the same letter a few days ago. I'm not sure if this in regards to the oil linkage rod or if they are actually going to update it to the same as the 2004's. I really like the fact that they are willing to pay for the plugs(last time I had to pay for them) and are including 4 gallons of oil.
