LAST EDITED ON Jul-12-01 AT 08:01AM (CST)[p]I'm looking for recommended places to stay at Vermillion for a weekend. I'm making my plans short notice so camping suggestions would also be appreciated in case I can't get a room. Two people in party. Nothing fancy. I just want to fish the lake. Thanks.
Try lakevermilionresorts.com. I stay at Pehrson's Lodge, however there are many fine resorts on the lake. It may come down to who has a vancacy. Also try lakevermilion.com for other ideas for staying on the lake. Good luck.

If you are interested in camping, try McKinley Park Campground at Tower. Very nice and clean and should have some open spots.
Also Glenwood Lodge might have an open cabin and almost always an open camp site. Camp sites not the greatest.
