Anybody got a Starcraft Starfire 170 tiller

My local Starcraft dealer picked up a new 2001 Starfire 170 tiller from Starcraft when the original dealer went bankrupt.It has a 60hp Mercury 2 stroke at present but I could upgrade to a 4 stroke Mercury or a 60hp Evinrude E-tec. I am curous how this boat compares to a Alumacraft 165 Navigator or Lund Alaskan or Crestliner Canadian.
I fish Lake St.Clair and Lac Seul. The Starcraft appears to have much more freeboard. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Blackjack- I ran a 2000 170-t for two years, had a Merc 50 two stroke. Very fishable platform, fished Saginaaw Bay and Lake St.Clair lots.
